Our Beloved Ex-Students,

Please accept my love and best wishes. Hope you are doing well at your respective places of service along with the members of your family by the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Holy Mother and Swamiji.

You must have heard that the Concluding Phase of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Vidyapith went off peacefully in December last. It was a grand success! I heartily extend my thanks and gratitude to those who were directly or indirectly associated with this ‘Big Show’ of our dear Vidyapith. A magnificent commemorative volume on the occasion of the celebration has been brought out. It is a ‘Charter’ containing the accounts of the brilliant achievements of this institution during the last 50 years.

            As announced in the celebration, as a follow-up program, we have undertaken a village development scheme in the rural areas of this backward district. One village named ‘Kanitar’ at the foot of Ayodhya hills has been selected for its overall development. The Indian Oil Corporation has donated a vehicle to cater to the medical requirements of the poor villagers.

            In view of this, I, the undersigned place before our Dear Ex-Students an appeal to stand by us for his noble cause. Please send your suggestion, financial help and moral support to us for the overall uplift of the illiterate, backward and the downtrodden citizens of our country.

            For this noble purpose, the Cheque / Draft / cash may be sent to ‘Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia’ along with a letter with a specific purpose if any, to the Secretary of Vidyapith. Your contribution will help the Vidyapith authority render services in various ways to your fellow citizens in distress.
