| (i) Indoor Hospital: |

There is a well-equipped Indoor-Hospital in the campus, in the charge of a resident qualified allopathic doctor. There are 36 beds in the hospital with a separate 'Segregation Ward', consisting of 05 beds. Periodical Medical Examinations and recordings of weights of the boys are carried out here.

(ii) Charitable Dispensary (Allopathic) :
All activities of Ramakrishna Mission are guided by the ideal— "For the Liberation of the Self and for the Good of Others," set up by Swami Vivekananda. Thus, service to the ailing local people forms an integral part of the activities of Vidyapith. The Charitable Dispensary of Vidyapith, named "Rameswarlal Singhania Arogya Bhavan", started functioning, since 1976. The patients of the locality, mostly be-longing to S/C and S/T Communities, are provided with free consultation and allopathic drugs of all kinds. 'The Immunization Clinic' admi¬nistered Tet-Vacs to around 8,000 patients, Vitamin 'B'-Complex and Oxy-Tetra-Cycline Injections to around 30,000 patients, while 215 patients obtained the help of X'-Ray methods form the Dispensary, during the period. To make it convenient for the patients of the remote villages to attend the Dispensary, the working-hours of the Charitable Dispensary have changed from 03 P.M. - 06 P.M. to 09 A.M. -12 noon. | |
